Fort worth area psychological association |
The Fort Worth Area Psychological Association was organized in 1967 and has sought to serve two purposes:
1) To provide a forum for the discussion of topics of mutual interest and concern to psychologists in this area.
2) To advance as a science and as a means of promoting human welfare by the encouragement of psychology in all its branches.
Members of the Association are pledged to abide by the laws governing the practice of psychology in Texas and by the ethical principles of the American Psychological Association.
The Association meets monthly to report on current issues. A wide variety of continuing education programs are offered throughout the year. Membership is open to licensed psychologists, licensed psychological associates, psychologists in exempt agencies, retired psychologists, and students in psychology. Associate membership is available to professionals in related fields.
