Recognizing and Responding to Ethical Dilemmas

Please join FWAPA to hear from Dr. Tiffany Chenneville Ph.D, of University of South Florida. She is currently the endowed chair in ethics, as well as a professor of psychology at the aforementioned university. She also has previously received Fulbright awards to aid her research; working with children, adolescents, and patients with HIV across a variety of cultures. 


Objectives:  

By the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

1) Describe factors that affect psychologists’ ability to recognize ethical issues

2) Distinguish between legal issues, clinical issues, ethical issues, and risk management

3) Identify situations that necessitate the use of a decision-making model

4) List several different decision-making models


Location: The comfort of your home or office or at UNTHSC EAD Bldg Rm: 406

Method: You will be sent instructions and a link to connect to the meeting by the morning of July 8th, 2022 prior to the event should you choose not to attend in person

Continuing Education: Hours awarded will be determined by how long you stay connected to the meeting.


Certificates will be e-mailed to participants for those choosing not to attend in person
