A Nutritional Approach to Neurocognitive Rehabilitation after TBI
A little bit about our presenter: We are very excited to have Dr. Visone with us! He is a Captain in the United States Army and a Clinical Psychologist. He served as a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychology Assistant in the Department of Neuropsychology at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center Germany, conducting forensic and neuropsychological evaluations of Soldiers across the US Army-NATO European footprint. While in Europe, he also served as a Behavioral Health Officer and Platoon Leader with US Army Europe’s only Combat Operational Stress Control Team, COVID-19 “Task Force Wilkommen” Officer in Charge (OIC) during the COVID pandemic, and Behavioral Health OIC at the culmination of the War in Afghanistan during Operation Allies Refuge. As an Army Psychologist, Dr. Visone was the Behavioral Health Research OIC in Baumholder, Germany, and one of three medical officers responsible for the design and implementation of the Army’s Traumatic Event Management (TEM) Restoration and Reconditioning Program in Europe. He completed his pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral residency with rotation concentrations in Health and Neuropsychology at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center, where he served as Chief Intern and Chief Resident, respectively.
This training will take place on April 14, 2023 from 1pm CST to 4pm CST. We will be located at UNT in the EAD room 714; remote attendance is available.
