I am a board certified Family Practicioner and I practice in Joshua, Texas at Family Medicine Associates, where I have been for 32 years. I am a graduate of Odessa Permian High school, Texas Tech University, UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas, University of Alabama Huntsville Residency Program, and the US Army. I am known as Pappadoc to my grandkids and world traveler to my friends. We have been on 6 major medical mission trips with Manna worldwide. I was awarded the East Cleburne Community Center Humanitarian Award in 2011 for mission activities in Cleburne at the HOPE Clinic and around the world. My passion in the office is the management of ADHD and its co-morbid issues. I follow more than 700 ADHD children, adolescents, and adults. I also enjoy teaching parents and teachers about behavioral disorders and their management. My other passion is educating fellow FP's in the management of ADHD so that the bulk of that treatment can remain in the office of the family doctor. I have recently started managing the opiate dependent patient with suboxone. I have now begun to see the real percentage of comorbidity of ADHD and substance abuse disorder. I have a good working relationship with many psychologists and counsellors in the Metroplex, and I look forward to our exchange of ideas this February.  

For the past 5 years, I have been the host of "Ask Dr. White", a morning call-in radio show on Big Country radio, 1460 on your AM dial each thursday morning at 730 in Cleburne, Texas.
