"Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS): An Experiential Introduction" by Tom Burdenski, Ph.D., Tarleton State University.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a new approach to psychotherapy that views the psyche as having many “parts” including 'managers,' 'firefighters,' and 'exiles.' Healing comes from accessing these parts through the IFS concept of 'Self' - the highly resourced spiritual center that is often obscured by our parts. This experiential workshop gives you an introduction to the basic assumptions, concepts, and language of this cutting-edge model of psychotherapy.
