Suicide Awareness Coalition of Tarrant County's LOSS Team

The Suicide Awareness Coalition of Tarrant County is committed to leading the community in suicide outreach, education, and prevention. About 2,350 people die by suicide each year in Texas. In Tarrant County alone, about 170 suicides occur annually. Fourteen of these deaths are children and adolescents.  For every suicide, more than six people are left to grieve for their loved ones. The LOSS Team (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors) is a group of volunteers who immediately assist people who lost a loved one by suicide, providing support and resources for further coping. 

FEE:

$25.00 early bird registration (to August 23rd)

8:30 am  5K Run/Walk
